Multiform Glass

Mario Moretti

Description

These are small, glass objects produced with a 'multiform' process which consists in compressing fine glass powder, with the addition of an organic binder, in a metallic mould before proceeding to the sintering of the glass at a temperature close to the softening one.
With this technique, objects and outlines of different shapes can be produced with great precision in the details. Sintered glass welds well compared to other materials and it is mainly used in the electronic component sector.
