It is the most precious glass; its composition is highly varied to achieve the many relationships between the necessary refraction and dispersion. Some eyewear glass types include: flint (plumbic glass with boric acid and barium oxide), crown (calcic glass with boric acid, barium and zinc oxide and phosphates) and the boron-silicates with a high boron level.
